A lot of the threads are useless because the pics no longer work. Is it possible to delete some of these threads and potentially add others such as Legend642’s build with a restored production shell or Chris Bosh’s scratch build thread?

Thanks Fritz for the add of [my scratch build](http://www.gbfans.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=41946) to the index. I promise the pics aren’t going anywhere! 🙂

Hello I’m just curious what is the best [proton pack](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack) that is fully built and ready to go / use available to purchase and where can I purchase it from or who from? I am not interested in buying a lower end proton pack I have money and I want to buy something with all the bells and whistles that looks as movie accurate to ghostbusters 1 as possible but has like I was saying all the bells and whistles / lots of features and all that fun stuff.

Thank you very much and please let me know.

Since this thread was started, the consumer 3D printer market has exploded and there is an entirely new way to build a movie accurate pack. This thread is a master collection of traditional methods used to build a pack, but what I have not been able to find is a collection of the best 3D plans available for use at home. It would be great to have a new category under the old listings with links to…

- GB1/GB2 packs
- Scaled Packs
- RGB Packs
- Throwers/parts for Spirit Packs
- Traps
- [PKE Meters](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/mattel-pke-meter)
- …

Trying to track this stuff down can be a real chore and GBFans has always been the go-to place for all links/references. It would be great if this thread or another stickied one collected the best links available so everyone and their brother isn’t trying to create their own pack every time they want to print one.

This thread and others are incredibly useful. However, I’m a novice at building myself, but I’m having a go with a full Aluminium wand. The screws and thead topic ([Official Pack and Thrower Screw List (GB1) - #31 by Socko525 - Proton Packs - GBFans.com](https://www.gbfans.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28546&start=30)) is a useful place to start but what it doesn’t give is the required lengths for the screws. I’m UK based and metric is my safe territory. Imperial measurements are a minefield to me and whilst that list helps, it’d be awesome if there were an updated version that showed size, thread count and length.

Does anyone know if such a thing exists? Otherwise, I’ll go back to my tried and tested method of buying all the lengths until I figure out the correct one - which is long, laborious and expensive ☹
