I’m looking at putting a Jupiter electronics light kit into my thrower and pack. On a screen pack was there a light in the orange [hat light](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/hat-lights) on the gun ear and was there a light in the hat light in the main body next to the vent light. I have seen people add lights here on there pack builds and I have spoken to Jupiter electronics and they can add the extra lights if I want them. I’m looking at trying to do a extending barrel tube on the thrower so was going to run the wires for the orange hat light on the gun ear behind the front grip to give me more space in the front handle for the extending mechanism. Any info on this and people’s thoughts would be great as I want to order the lights ASAP ---

Sounds like you have it all figured out. Running the wires behind the grip is screen accurate and the orange light next to the vent I think was the flash bulb indicator which is rarely seen lit up but no one is gonna cut your throat for making it light up lol. The main thing to remember is that you have to be happy with your finished product, so if you want it that way, do it! The [hat light](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/hat-lights) by the vent on top of the gun never lit in either movie. ---

There’s currently offline discussion about just what the setup for the end [hat light](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack/hat-lights) and flashbulb is. In every scene you can see it lit, they seem to press the gun ear button, except for a few frames of Murray, so if Jupiter doesn’t have that particular light, you could wire it through the push button to be just on/off. As for the other hat light in question, I don’t think there’s any footage with it actually lit, though it can sometimes be difficult to see due to light reflections.
