Has any one cleaned the edges of GBI’s scanned [Tobin’s spirit Guide](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/tobins-spirit-guide) then scanned it in as a document? ---

I own the original book/scan that was given to GBI years ago. Run this by me again? The edges are blurry? I seem to think I already scanned it as a document ( giant PDF ) years ago. No? What would it take to correct the issues you’re having? ---

I think he means that is someone cleaned up the Tobin’s book edges to make a pristine edition of the book, as opposed to the original WEG gamebook, which has the edges made to look as if they were scanned from a VERY old book.. ---

I’ve not done what was asked because there are several parts of the book I don’t like. I’m not a fan of the little powers and strength box used for the actual game play. I’m also not a fan of the intro by [Ray Stantz](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/characters/ray-stantz). So I’ve put the guide in photoshop and cut out all of the “etchings” and the little paragraph squiggly design things (yeah, I know that sounds stupid, but I have no idea what to call them), and I’m re-typing the whole book. I’ve scaled the page size down quite a bit to both make it a smaller sized cover and also a thicker book. When I’m done with it I’m hoping that it will be a bit more realistic than the original. I will then print it and bind it in a hard cover and age it. I will probably end up making 2 volumes, the second with the intro by Ray and put a different cover on it to make it look more like a text issued to GBI affiliate franchises. My only problem is my ADD won’t let me work on the project too long at a time, especially since I’ve had it 3/4 of the way finished and lost it all in a hard drive crash and have since had to retype the thing again. Maybe someday it will get finished. ---

Just the same, I soooo respect what you are doing. You’re making it look more real-world, less “gamey.” Well done. ---

I thought it would be fun to do something like this. with page size being 4 x 5 then if i didn’t think it was bulky enough I was going to trace RGB Ghosts (i suck at drawing so for them to look right i’d have tot race) and include them in there (Just a page for the illustration and a page for description ) I’m a big fan of the grail diary from indiana jones so i considered making the grail diary but i figured with a [Tobin’s Spirit Guide](https://www.gbfans.com/shop/tobins-spirit-guide) it would be more unique How do you plan to bind the book up? anything like this? I picture a book not quite as big as the Nine Gates, with a dark brown leather binding with gold lettering on the front. ---
