That clip made me physically ill. This guy is a tool. Corey overpaid for a shotty recast replica. Bob got 1050 for the pack and most likely still made profit. No way did that pack cost him that much. ---

I’m not sure what helps him fade into obscurity more… people not knowing about him and being educated by others… or… People feeding into his ego by tracing every move he makes almost as bad as some fans stalk celebrities. Regardless the guy is getting press on these boards even if it is negative and for the people who do support the guy and just want cheap stuff it gives them a direct way to find him too. ---

Sadly, he lives and “works” in my area. He shows up at conventions around here when he wants to show off one of his “props.” There are 2 things he is actually scared of, obscurity, and people who have knowledge. ---

In defence of this thread, the original poster wasn’t aware of who the Pack’s seller was. As for the other topics, we have a responsibility to keep track of the slimeball… and as it happens, it has helped win some ground in banishing him into obscurity, his involvement in a documentary about the Time Machine and Deloreans was nixed after his public record was passed on to the film makers. ---

Any who a coworker of mine mentioned seeing the pack on the show and said it looked just like mine. Knowing it was a Video Bob ■■■■ pack and my pack being Vincenzo built it took all of my strength not to be insulted but my coworker didn’t know who Video Bob was and isn’t too familiar with the pack so I let it go. ---

I also live in dallas and have been lurking for a long time. I really want to buy a pack before halloween and I had considered buying one from this guy simply because the pictures seem to look good to me. i emailed him once and he was friendly and invited me to come to his shop but I never have. i was wondering, have any of you who are talking about ever met him or seen any of his stuff in person? i ask because i know photos can be deceiving! if you guys are interested, i could make a recon mission over there and take some photos and maybe get some information. any requests? PS: I’m 44, but I love ghostbusters!!! ---

I thought it was fitting that the cold open featured the guys hanging around the ■■■■ shop discussing some of the worst decisions they’d ever made, then right after that they bought a pack from VB (without even consulting a ‘buddy’), continuing with the theme. ---

Yes, I have seen his stuff in person. It is as bad as everyone has said. Avoid at all cost! The amount you will pay for one of his packs, you could spend getting a pack with better accuracy. In fact you will spending less by not going through videobob. Also, you will be helped by this wonderful community, and sellers that love Ghostbusters, and not just see it as a way to con people for a quick buck. I just saw the episode tonight. Some of you have already covered the first offenses, (1) claiming he went to visit the pack in person for measurements, and (2) claiming he had a graphics shop make up the labels. I know deskjet printer decals when I see them. The part I got the most entertainment out of was when he touched the clippard valve and the bellows and said “some of these are parts off of an old Corvair.” Oh really? Hunh. Lookie there. All these people here and all the research and apparently none of us ever figured out what Slobert Mostly has deduced is a Corvair part? Maybe that’s because it’s just something he made up on the fly. It was good to see him leaving in defeat. The best part of him is always seeing him walking away. ---

The “Corvair” part he refers to is the completely inaccurate bellows he keeps slapping on his packs. I believe they are actually out of the thermostat of the Corvair (although I know some carbs had similar parts). Poor editing probably made it look like he was referring to the Clippards. I still don’t understand why he keeps using such an inaccurate part. I would rather have a decent replica or casting than the incorrect part he uses.
