God… 2 Proton packs?? That must even hurt more… I have not got any reply yet form him with the pictures and videos from the “Supposed” finished Proton Pack from last Friday… I just lost my hope, but at least did not loose the money… I’m seriously considering that we should Blacklist this seller and make aware others thru their youtube/facebook page about what this guy is doing.
I agree, if he was on the level just simple communication shouldn’t be this difficult. And when people are paying a lot of money for something the least you can do is keep them in the loop. Plenty of other prop makers and sellers in the community that I have dealt with have kept up consistent replies and updates the whole way; BenofKent, Shapeforge props, Mike from GBpartsHQ etc. Its not hard to treat customers with respect especially when they are paying the bills.
Totally agree. It is unacceptable. And not just the communication, its the fact that these Proton Packs never existed.
Did you got a Proton Pack from someone that you can trust?
I ordered a kit from BenofKent to build myself after doing a lot of homework to make sure they were legit, As I had fallen prey to viking props several years before. I wanted to make sure I didn’t naively fork over hundreds before checking I was going to get what I paid for, plus building it myself made it feel more like my own pack.
I wish I had time to build one for myself 
My only option is to get one Already Built and done, or someone that builds them, but It’s hard to find someone reliable and not that expensive
I don’t know if Ben does any build commissions anymore but it could be worth asking, or if he knew anyone he would reccomend.

VikingProps replied to me yesterday, Thursday 11th. this is his message, almost 1 week after he said he would send me pics/videos on Saturday 6th:
I can’t really decode this guy. Seriously. He never sent any pictures/videos as promised on Sat Nov 6th, so I just told him that I was done with him for real. Now, 6 days later he sends me that message… and of course, after 1 day, no photos attached, no videos on youtube either. I don;t know for you, but “I will snap pictures rigth away” for me means: “I’m attaching the pciture son this email, or in a few minutes”, but hey, maybe I’m crazy. WHY? Why there is even need to do that? It’s not like you are still disputing the money. And what shocks me more:
Seriously you don’t know how to attach videos/pictures to your customers? This is one of the Selling Points he promotes when you are ebuying form him, he doesn’t ship “until” you have approved the product thru pics and videos. So I guess he should know by 2021 how many photos/vidoe he can attatch… or use drive for that… or whatever free upload sevrice you have on internet…
This tells me even more about this guy, because he probably hans’t sent picture sin years, so he is probbaly scamming more people that we know. therwise… I’m not sure what is he trying to acomplish with all this. Doesn’t he see that it’s doing worst by keep promesing pictures, and not sending them, and then saying he can;t send them because they are to big? At 2021 this does not have any sense to anyone that has more than 2 neurons… I just can’t understand this guy and his acts.

I “tried” purchasing some GB stuff thru his Viking Props direct website; as I am a newbie and had no idea they were blacklisted; but after a month and a half I have had to file a claim to try an get my money back.
Man thats horrible to hear… This guy seems to have a pattern for sure… to not build or delivery on time. He should reboot his “expectatives” or construction times… if he is indee dbuilding them.

After 1 week of waiting, he did sent pictures of the Proton Pack finished This Saturday Nov 13th. Some stuff was weird, because he sent me pictures of my proton pack and my friend’s (Werner) both together, and this is the werid stuff:
-My protton pack was for “David”. My name is Daniel, and he always called me Daniel or Dani, never David. So I’m not sure if this is a mistake, or this Pack is for someone called David.
-My bud Proton Pack… He claims this is not his Proton Pack for several reasons: He ask it to be very weathered (on the pics is not weathered at all) and 1 week or 2 ago VikingProps stated him that there was not ETA since it was missing components. Also, VikingProps stated to me that my proton pack woudl be way before my friends since I ordered almost 3 weeks earlier than him.
So… Maybe these were someone else’s proton packs? Sinc eif mine was done before my friend’s, why he is showing them both together? Why my friend;s is not weathered at all as he ask for? Why on my tag said for David? And why it takes 1 week to “upload pictures” to a costumer because they are to big and the emaisl are not going thru?.. There are some stuff smelling here for sure. We both got our claims sided by paypal and got our money back. Werner did not want to keep in bussines wiht VikingProps. I offered the guy to Do this:
-If he could send me pictures of the PP finished on time, I would aks him for a new invoice and pay again the amount, but the PP had to be deliveried by Wed Nov 17th. I even sent him the shipping options that could make it on time.
VikingProps reply was that before shipping, I needed to clear my stuff with paypal… and that I needed to cancel the claims and apologice to Paypal, and then Pay to VikingProps a Fee because when they get a claim they get a penalty.
As I told him severla times, I got my money refunded, and thats how I replied this time again, so I could not cancel any claim, but if it helped him, I could write to paypal saying that I saw my product finally and that I was going to do a new purchase with him. But I would not pay any fee to paypal (because they sided with me) and I would not pay any fee to VikingProps, because the claim was due to his lack of profesionality, he never deliveried when he agreed to for several times, and he disapeared 3 weeks during the dealdine until I escalated the issue with paypal. Still, he never worked with paypal, so if he got a penalty is his fault, not mine. Since he could have avoided a claim by just deliverying the product when he stated severla times, or if it was not possible, then give a new estimate or keep me informed of the real status of the proton pack (and not say: “its about to complete” when it was not even started probably) , instead of that, he desapeared, leading to think that he run out with the money, so if he woudl have not disapeared and keep in contact I would have never filed a claim. And yet, after beign claime,d he could have worked something to make it work, yet he did not, because he did not had a proton pack, or because who knows why.
SO yeah, I’m not paying for any fee. and I stated him that the deadliens to ship the PP to get it here on Wednesday 17th were Last Friday, Last Saturday, and the last one Today at 2pm. Its 4PM and he has not replied yet since saturday, and of cours eit hasn;t ship anything because he has not sent any invoice. He just seemed to be itnerested on me canceling the claims and appologicing to paypal.
If he was interested into selling me a PP he would have sent me a new invoice inmediately.
BTW The Proton Pack ended up looking cool for what I saw on the pictures tbh, but I still prefer Haslabs one by far. And again, I’m not sur eif that was my PP or someone else.
So YES, he seems to build Proton Packs… now… knowing what we know from all the people that are still waiting for years for the product… and our personal experiences… I don’t know how much I would trust VikingProps. His Customer service after purchase is the worst you will ever see, and gets wprst as the time passes by. And I have the feeling I got my PP on pictures (and my buddy Werner’s one when he was not suposed to have his yet) because all the preasure we did to him, and yet he was late and bad manner.
I don’t know if the guy just accept soto many roders to produce, or he just builds the necessaries to have his bussines up, and formt he rest he takes the money.
He said his Paypal acount was on hold and was trying to balme me for that, but You need a fair amount of claims to have Paypal put your Paypal on Hold. So I guess he must be dealing with a bunch of paypal claims…

I guess these Proton packs we saw on pcitures were not ours, since he has done “NOTHING” to get paid again for them. I ofered him to pay again for the Proton pack and he hasn;t sent me any invoice, but this email.
He justw anted us to cancel the paypal claim and loose our money.
Oh man, this was such a bad experience. He never went and replied to me like he did to Daniel. But in my view, this person is a scam artist. It literally went from How can I give you and ETA if I don’t even know. To guess what? Your pack is ready and then the promise of pictures and videos. But at that point I was already done with this whole situation. Week later he sends pictures like Daniel described. I had ordered a weathered PP to match with the look from the new film. The PP in the pictures was clearly not meant for me.
I would not recommend this guy, Viking Props, to anyone, ever. Simply glad that I was able to get my money back and now I’ll happily wait for the Hasbro Spengler pack that looks significantly better than the pictures I got sent.
Well update on my order. I ended up having to contact paypal as I had stated earlier. Which didnt even prompt a reply from them.
I emailed Viking Props again, nadda… again. So I had no choice them but had to try an reclaim my funds thru my bank.
Yeahfhis guy isn’t worth bothering with. Ignore anything he says, get your money back and enjoy your other probably better slimeblower when it arrives.

I definitely think he needs to be blacklisted from selling. I’ve heard nothing since the blanket statement email on Oct. 27. Plus reading all this evidently he completed other packs for people long after I ordered mine LAST YEAR! Similar situations with saying he’s sending pictures of the completed pack and there are no pics in the email. Then stating they’ll try to send them again and never getting anything. It’s definitely discouraging knowing he literally stealing peoples money. I filed complaints with paypal but obviously it’s well past the time that they will actually do anything. VikingProps should be on the blacklist because he’s stolen so much money from people.
On my last email I proposed him to enroll to some of these “Internet courses for Elders”, so maybe he can learn how to attatch 1 picture to an email, or maybe better, use Drive to attatch stuff on his gmail emails :S.
But I guess he just doens’t have anything to attatch at all, since he is smart enough to attatch pictures to the emails to make fun of the costumer, like the little girl from willy wonka saying " I WANT IT NOW" because I was asking for a real status and eta for my proton pakc that was “about to complete” one month before, and was already one month late.
In my case and Werner’s, he just probably tried to send Proton packs Pics from someone elses as proof, so we would go ahead to cancel our claims (that was his whole propuse since he did not accept to send me a new invoice to pay the PP again, I guess because he would ot ship me anything and he would get a new claim from paypal.). SO if we canceled our claims he could run wiht the money and don’t send anything. The thing is that the guy is so stupid he was even late sending these pictures, because our Paypal claim was already refunded.
So in your case, now that he has your money, why even bother to get back to you? I brought him that a lot of people complain about this on internet and he said first its fomr years ago, when I told him is for the past 2 years, he said: well they are people that tried to scam me. HAHAHAHAHAHA. This guy has for sure created his own dimension.
I’m just glad that I was able to get my money back. Can’t stress enough that I really wish this store and it’s seller would be blacklisted. The pictures that were sent a week after he promised to send them next day, was not for the pack I ordered. A card with my name was on it, but it wasn’t weathered at all. I don’t know the reasoning for sending it to me as I had stated already that I had lost any confidence in this transaction. It’s great that the website states no refunds and that he hammered Daniel about that, but for that to remain true you have to be in contact with your customers to update them on the progress.
I urge people to not fall for this scammer. He might have been a good seller years ago but now, I would say protect your wallets and go for someone that has been deemed trustworthy. Don’t make the mistake we did.
Oh, man, I didn’t realize Viking was still scamming people. The dude’s trash, he’s always been trash and a thief and a liar. Please don’t order from this goober.
Anybody who can help me identify this piece of shit will obtain a significant bounty. Genuine leads only. And yes I intend to recover everybodies money then we’ll let’s see where this takes us ..
Good luck! I ordered 2 packs off of him in 2020 and all communication ceased when I sent an email asking him to just be honest and tell me that my money was stolen. I have no way of recovering the money at this point. I definitely learned my lesson and it sure soured my first experiences within this community.
Don’t lose faith, there are plenty of trustworthy sellers in the community. I learned the hard way with Viking too, to triple check before commiting to a purchase that big. But that’s what this thread is for.
After being walked over I chose to take it into my own hands and build a pack myself, buying parts from the guys who I knew were 100% on the level. I would say to you, give that a try. The experience of building your own pack helps make it feel more like your own, and will probably be 10 times better than the crap you or I would have received from him.
