I seem to be having two recurring issues. The first is that anytime I upload a profile image, it is there for a day or two and then gone. Now sure why it is being removed/deleted.
The second issue is with logging in. I am using my email, but when I do, it always sends me a verification code to my email, so I need to log into that to get the code and then log in here. It seems like it is extra steps. Am I doing something wrong that is causing that to happen?
Could you give us some more info? Are you trying to access the site via laptop/desktop PC, or mobile? If it’s the former, what web browser are you using?

Did you upload it to: Clerk (the login system), GBFans (the site), or Discourse (the forum). I wonder if it overrides once you login? I will look into this a bit more.
So the email code is normal. Instead of having a password, it just sends the code to your email. You can also select ‘Login a different way’ or similar and then enter your password instead. Logging into the forum can sometimes take an additional button press because they are 2 different systems, but it should be seamless.

I have been accessing the site on my laptop and by mobile, depending on where I am at. It has been happening more on the laptop than the mobile.
I understand the verification to confirm accounts. That makes sense. But should it happen every single time? When I go on the page for other ways to log in, it only gives me the option to log in with Discord or Google.
Yes. That is the login process. If you are not logged in, it will ask you to give the code instead of the password. The issue seems to be that you are getting logged out frequently and having to log back in again. I’m personally not having that problem, though I keep my browser open pretty much all the time.
Here is that option to select an alternative. You still enter your email and it will still email you the code:
But then you can click ‘Use another method’
And have the option to login with a password:
But… If this is your first time logging in on that browser / computer / network / IP.. etc. It is still going to send you that code for verification, because it has identified you logging in from somewhere new.
The main thing to figure out is why do you get logged out. It could be accessing from different locations, IPs, networks, browser sessions.. etc.
Lots of improvements are being made on the backend of the shop that will help with inventory tracking and keeping things in stock. For example:
I have an item like the Clippard Elbow that is comprised of a elbow and a barb. Previously if you bought the elbow it wouldn’t subtract from the barb quantity. So it was common to have the inventory count of the barbs be off. So the system will now handle cases like that. It will also keep track of items that are not sold individually, but are used as parts of kits. Like the #10-32 bolt is used for GB1 / GB2 Ion Arm End Caps, but I have no idea how many I have on hand at any given time, nor when I should re-order them until… typically.. I am out of them.
I have also updated my custom name tag embroidery programs. So now I can generate the embroidery files directly from the shop admin pages. It should help speed up the process going from order to custom name tag. It may also give the ability for me to email a proof to a customer within a few minutes of ordering.
Nice - as someone who has spent all together too much money at the shop in the last ~18 months, that’s exciting!
Okay, I see that now. I think that seems to be the way to go for me.
What’s odd is that I access the site/forum from the same three places: home, mobile network, and work (don’t tell my boss). It is also from the same two devices (laptop and phone).
Any idea about the user image? I uploaded it again last week and it is gone again.

We’re about 1 month in and starting to get an idea for the costs associated with running the new site. Even with optimizations the site is costing about $500 per month with the whole Google system + Storage + Databases. I am going to look into alternative solutions because that is more than double the previous site.
Hopefully will be getting that down to about ~$150 per month now.
It was only supposed to be down for about ~30 minutes, but that turned into 3 hours. But we’re on a new server (again) and this one feels so much faster than all the others! For real, you click around and it’s just BOOM, the page is loaded.
And the new server isn’t even breaking a sweat! I am working on moving the main GBFans site over now. This one should be a bit more straightforward, but the main site will go offline while the database transfers.
And the site is now on the new server. 
Looks like it resolved or I wouldn’t be posting this but on Saturday, I got a weird glitch. When I logged in, got the code, and put in the code, I’m taken the the forum normally but I’m not logged in.
I had that too (or something similar to that), after chatting with AJ early Saturday morning (U.K. time) I learned that was the period when the forum was moving servers.
