I was wondering what was the best thing to use for the red covers that go in the cycltron? I have looked for many different items but not sure what is the best to use. Any suggestions?

Check into stage lighting gel sheets. They are thin sheets of colored film often used in stage lighting. This stuff laid over clear plexiglass should give you the effect you are looking for.

I took clear CD cases and colored them with a red Sharpie marker. I gave them about three coats from the marker to make sure no streaks were visible and it made a lovely deep red hue.

Some people also use red reflectors for mailboxes and driveways or bike reflectors. That look can be pretty cool as well! :boogieman:

WOE! Great idea with the flashlight! I use the reflectors from Bike Saftey beacons. Perfect size and look great! That flashlight filter is probably your best bet though. That would be perfect.

I bought some stage gels from the Guitar Center website for something like $4.

The nice thing about them is that they’re plenty large enough for all the holes, and the set I bought came with green, yellow, blue, and red so I also got a sheet of blue to put in the power pack window…
