I remember that on gametrailers TV that the guys at terminal reality said HE would make an appearance. So where is he? Is that going to be DLC later? ---

If you watch during the part where the very first find out that the mayor is possessed by shandor for a quick second he is holding the skull of gozer, pink hair flat top and all. ---

I have to admit that when I saw the Gozer skull I got pretty excited. Great/unexpected nod to the first film. ---

okay… question. one, does this mean gozer is dead? and two (unless stay puft was actually gozer or controlled by gozer in the game) how did it fail shandor twice when it only entered our word once? anyone? ---

It entered our world in GB1 and now in the game,I’m not good at math but I’m pretty sure that’s twice that Gozer has been to our world. ---

[Ivo Shandor](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/ivo-shandor) originally wanted power granted to him by worshiping Gozer. When Gozer failed its first attempt at entering the ethereal plane Shandor’s spirit working at putting into motion actions to bring Gozer back to our plane. While he worked on this some side effects of him trying to activate the spiritual attenae at his disposal was an over flowering river of slime under new york. Then when he finnaly did have the power he brought Gozer back into the realm and the Ghostbusters defeated it again. So Ivo decided it would be better to be a god than worship one, so when Gozer was sent back into the origin dimension Shandor killed it. ---

Shador was too smart to do somethng by accident. anyway, i think its cool that a minor character we never saw before make a comeback as a new villian ghost. and a worthy one at that. however i’m just a tad upset at the possibility of shandor having killed gozer: but i can live with it. (fine way for a villian to go i guess) it was one of those things to show how strong shandor was now. ironic he was defeated the same way as gozer though eh? ---

however i remeber in the wii version when it showed you that plaque of ghosts. i see gozer right behind stay puft. hmmm, maybye gozers cameo is differnt in the wi game. ---

Did anyone catch that the area where you drain the [black slime](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-the-video-game/ghosts/black-slime) looks like the pillars and river of slime that is under Vigo’s head in the painting? Also,what about when you are trying to pull open the main gate in the cemetery with the Ecto,and the face on the door blasts the Ecto with it’s eyes,did anyone catch that the eye beams are identical to the ones that Vigo uses on Janoz? The fact that Vigo is back in his painting and the mentioning of the river of slime is no coincidence,I’m pretty sure Vigo was a Gozer worshiper. ---
