On some of the other sites I visit, they get absolutely **insane** when it comes to Off-Topic discussion. How come we don’t talk about other things here at GBFans? There are five dedicated forums here that are just for talking about things that aren’t Ghostbusters related. - [General Discussion](http://www.gbfans.com/community/viewforum.php?f=11) - [Movies](http://www.gbfans.com/community/viewforum.php?f=58) - [TV Shows](http://www.gbfans.com/community/viewforum.php?f=61) - [Music](http://www.gbfans.com/community/viewforum.php?f=59) - [Video Games](http://www.gbfans.com/community/viewforum.php?f=60) There is so much out there to be talking about, and in turn getting to know each other. Things like Current Events, News Articles, Cool/Funny Videos, Seeking Advice, Telling us a story.. etc. I would love to see a hundred new posts every day just in the Off-Topic area… it would be great if we could all interact more in general vs. when it comes specific to Ghostbusters. ---

Preachin’ to the choir AJ. I suspect I’m a lover of off-topic, but that mostly has to do with the fact that I feel like I’ve I already 'done my GB time and contributed ’ yet am still a fan. I’m neither a prop builder, visual artist, [fan fiction](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/fans/fan-fiction) writer, Ecto car person, or someone that purchases and collects GB related things. ( I can however sew _almost_ anything…and I mean _\*almost \*_anything that anyone may need) That’s a whole 'nother topic though. Most forums pick up ON TOPIC when there is NEW news. The GB portion of the forum will get active when [the video game](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/games/ghostbusters-the-video-game) is released? Correct? However, when like minded people convene either in person or online, then surely there is more to discuss than just ONE singular topic. To live and breathe only one interest would require a trip to the nearest psychologists. However, I guess that many members simply back off due to lack of _\*new \*_news regarding the forum’s focus which clearly is GB. Makes a bit of sense for sure. It’s all sort of cyclical really and a little bit tricky. You have however given the space for off-topic discussion. After emphasizing that, your hands are tied. It’s up to the forum members. ---
