Why’d you post this in the Southwest section, when the Site Feedback section would’ve been far more appropriate? Please specify what the problem you’re experiencing trying to upload video files is. ---

Slow down. Back away from the question mark key. When you try to post, hover over the {Youtube} button. You’ll see instructions appear below it. The “Video ID#” is the random string of letters, numbers, and characters in a YouTube link. The instructions give you an example. Simply take your YouTube video, copy the Video ID# from its URL, and paste it within YouTube tags. For example, take this YouTube URL: ```auto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2fpgpanZAw ``` V2fpgpanZAw is the Video ID# If anything follows the Video ID#, it will be preceded by an ampersand. Example: ```auto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2fpgpanZAw&feature=channel ``` In this case, simply strip everything from the ampersand on, including the ampersand itself, and you’re left with the YouTube Video ID#. Simply place the Video ID# within YouTube tags, like so: ```auto https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2fpgpanZAw ``` And it should show up like this in your post: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2fpgpanZAw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2fpgpanZAw) Also, this isn’t technically uploading; it’s hotlinking (or inline linking, or direct linking, or leeching…). If I’m out of line in instructing someone on how to do this before the moderator had completed his support procedure, please reprimand me accordingly. ---
