# Wickedpurple's Uniform WIP

Yeah, yeah… It’s been while since I’ve lurked this site. In that time life has happened and this year I’ve decided to jump in with some easy stuff to get back in the groove. It would be cumbersome to bring a pack into work, so I feel ok about leaving it for later.

I want to thank AJ so much for the great store service and everyone else on here for sharing their experiences. I’ve had a billion browser windows open taking ideas here and there to make my own suit.

I’m making two, one for me and one for the husband. He doesn’t care that much, but I’ll be damned if he won’t look good next to me. Ghostheads are like pilots… you can only be excited and talk to people who understand so you guys are going to get all the exciting happy pics! 🙂

This is the beginning of the [belt gizmo](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/uniform/calculator-circuit-board). I bought snaps for the holster but the material is too thick. I’m going to see if Lowes sells rivets this weekend. I am still deciding if I want to throw LEDs in the ‘nixie tubes’ or not, depending if I can figure out how to make them randomly twinkle. Gives me something to do while waiting for the mail!
