Would it be considered a faux paus if I utilized left over vacuum hose to attach [particle throwers](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/particle-thrower) to my [proton packs](https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/proton-pack)?

Not at all, i actually think a few members have done this in the past. Just make sure your hose diameter is 3/4 or 1’ so it doesn’t look to ridiculous if it’s oversized. Vacuum hose could be a little heavier then your basic wire loom though, and make sure to spray paint it black if it’s an off-colored hose.

Vaccum hose most likely is about 2/3 larger in diamater then what you really need, and it pretty cheap as well.

Odds are you are going to have problems attaching it to both the pack and gun, and it’ll probably be a bit heavier then the loom as well, depemnding on what type of vaccum hose you have… since loom very close to what was actually used is just a buck or two, I’d pick some up, personally.

Some things are just worth getting right if you can, and you can always reuse it for a more accurate pack down the road.
