My mailman must hate me. All the pack parts coming in and today I get a get a giant box containing this:

Haven’t seen anyone post about this yet so I thought I would. It’s not possible in any way but the pose they’ve chosen for him is a good one, I think. He’s smooth vinyl, no texturing at all. Feels solid but not as heavy as I expected. The size really is impressive. Here he is next to the Neca Stay Puft.

And for those you don’t have the Neca one to compare here he is next to the Ghostbusters blu ray.

So yeah, he’s huge! Of course this is a bank so there’s a coin slot on the back.

And a plug in his foot so you can get the money out.

I don’t know how much money Stay Puft holds but if anyone wants to send me some I’ll let you know. :wink: Given how big this is I wouldn’t fill it with too many pennies you might risk a serious back injury. For me, its a nice compliment to Neca’s angry version. $100 may be a bit expensive for it but its a nice figure and sure to be a standout piece in any collection. I’m really happy with it.

Value wise, look at it this way: If it was considered an “adult collectable” statue, the price on it would have been $400 or more because of the size.

Mine should be here Monday. Fun fact as I have no bank to have fun with: The shipping weight on this package is 9 lbs.

(Still mad about wife ordering it from another source than GBFans.com as it would have been here already…)

Is it really 9 pounds? Wow, the box didn’t feel that heavy to me. Must be because I’m so jacked (with flab).

I forgot to mention that it comes sealed in a plastic bag with the usual safety warnings on it, no special text or anything. There was a small tag attached to the arm, I don’t recall what it said, nothing too interesting so if your a MOC type of collector you’re going to have open this one up to properly display it.

Im at work so cant see pics yet - Im getting the angry one - is anyone getting both if not how did you pick what one to go for?

I don’t plan on getting the angry version simply because I have the Neca Stay Puft which has he angry expression. I wanted a happy version and this big guy came around so I snatched him up. The angry verismo does look nice though. If I didn’t have the Neca one it would have been a hard choice.

He looks great next to the Firehouse! It’s too bad the Mattel Stay-Puft display box isn’t just a couple of inches taller, I would have signed up for the angry version in a heartbeat. =/

Does anyone else’s not stand flat? Mine has feet that are a bit off.

On mine the toes on one foot aren’t flat, they’re slightly raised like he’s in the process of putting his foot down. Its a bit odd but maybe its for balance when he’s full of coins?

I think I prefer the angry version of this.. the happy one reminds me more of the cartoon version than the film version.

I wonder if they are considering a burning paint op version of angry though? I think I’d have to go with that version if I had to choose one.
