This morning I was woken up to Sledge calling me from the hospital telling me he was about to go into surgery. He went to the e.r. at around 5 am very sick and in crazy pain and they told him he has appendicitis and he made it in time. He says they will probably let him go home tomorrow if all is well so, here’s to a speedy recovery brother 
Sounds like he is getting his appendix removed.
yeah he had it out at around 1 this afternoon..he went in about 5 this morning…the appendix actually did rupture (according to the doctor this evening) at around 10 am so this was definitely a close call no doubt…He looked good tonight and was in very high spirits…
I almost went under the knife for the same thing. The doctor wanted to cut me up immediately.
My parents were kinda hesitant and decided to get a second opinion from a doctor who didn’t drive a really expensive car (lol)
The second doctor put me under observation while only taking an IV into my arm..
In the end, all I had was gas. Two days later I was fine and back home…

Damn whats with the FL guys getting hurt lately,I was just in a car accident that exact same day,well Sledge,hope ya get to feeling better soon man.
well not 100% but can help with small jobs around the Firehouse. had my appendix rupture. let me say hurt a bit.
did miss having a Computer around though.
Glad you are back on your feet buddy,my wrist still isn’t healed fully yet,can’t achieve full thrower capacity,so I useless in the field.
