Not great with this stuff… what is the best adhesive to use for the cyclotron lenses and the power cell lense? Hot glue won’t do, I’m afraid gorilla glue will get messy and separate the lense too much and not sure if superglue is the best… thank you for your help!!!
I always used hot glue…
Otherwise id just use some cheap superglue (cyanoacrylate)
I use hot glue initially in a just a couple of spots to keep the lenses in place. Then I use epoxy putty all around the lenses to secure them permanently. If you use just hot glue and leave your pack in a hot car, the glue can soften and lose it’s adhesiveness.
I also prefer to use hot glue to mount the lenses, reflectors, and bulbs. It’s much easier to tear apart if you ever had to replace a broken or defective part. The trick to remember is that a little goes a long way, don’t get trigger happy and make sure your contact area is slightly scuffed and clean (use isopropyl and a cotton ball, paper towel or clean cloth) before adhering anything.
