So fun night, my alice frame just snapped on me. I just finished upgrading my pack with some 3D printed TVG upgrades, just the slime tank on the side and the slime blower for the neutrona wand. I’ll admit the packs heavy now but not snap the frame in half heavy?? When I’m not using it I have it propped against a shelf on the frame, I think what might’ve happened is the top bar was resting on the shelf and having that pressure applied to it basically 24/7 is what led to it snapping? If anyone has any kind of advice for me I’ll listen to it, cause I do NOT want this happening again

Two things, you should absolutely be using washers, and that is a modern reproduction frame and they’re not nearly as well made as vintage frames. Looks like a BoK spacer, so I’m assuming it’s one of his packs too, so will be weighing in at a fair bit. Find yourself a vintage frame, and get a better spacer too.
Right, I can get ahold of a vintage frame easy, any recommendations for spacers?
Proton Props does GB1 style spacers, and pretty sure has them in stock right now.
