this is gonna sound stupid but, how the hell should I get the frame attatched to the proton pack? thanks!
its not all that stupid b/c i ran into the same problem and come up with nothing thus far. anyone have any ideas? how was it done in the movie? how can you do it to take the motherboard off to get to any electronics in the pack??
Someone else had cut access doors on the back of the mother board to get to the interior wiring. I believe they also bolted the mother board, at the bottom, to the frame and then used zip ties at the top/sides to hold it in place.
Bolt the alice frame to the motherboars so its permanent, and make tha pack components removable.
I have ‘L’ brackets bolted around the outside of the motherboard and just screw on the pack parts with black screws.

Also, I’m using 2" bolts at the bottom with a 1" nylon spacer, and a 1.5" bolt at the top. I need to drill my pack frame for the top bolt though. If you use the longer bolts at the bottom, with a spacer, the motherboard angles inward like this " \ " and doesn’t cause the MB to bend in the middle like this " ) ". I have an AL motherboard as well. Your mileage may vary when using wood/pvc.
