Alternate Jumpsuit Option—EMT Coveralls

If anyone is looking for a high quality and practical jumpsuit, I’d recommend the TAC-Coveralls made by Kaltgear. I love the damn things.

The suits are only available in navy blue and black.
They’re not ripstop, but DAMN that 7.75oz 65% Polyester 32% Cotton -3% Spandex mix is comfy.
The suits are CWU-27P-styled, and not 100% accurate to what is seen in the films.
And pockets. You get trouser pockets and and very practical cargo pockets.

I’m not currently using them as Ghostbusters outfits, and your mileage may vary. These coveralls are intended more for emergency medical technicians, which is reflected in the types of pockets they include. But those pockets are super practical. I can now easily carry on my person all of the first aid kit items that I used to jam in a thigh rig.

I don’t think the company making the coveralls is long for this world—their selection seems to have contracted, and a lot of stuff is on sale. But that also means American shoppers can scoop a pair up for $65 (with apologies to our international friends given the currency conversions and shipping).

While they wouldn’t be one-to-one to the Engineers flightsuits, they feel very much in that utilitarian spirit.

If you buy one, go one size up from what you think you’ll need.
