Hey all! Wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I am Marc Kerns. My friends all call me either “Krazer” or “Kap” (short for Kaptain Kerns. I have been to GBFans.com before, but never really registered. Though more and more these days I finally came to realize this is where I need to be when it comes to being a Ghostbusters fan.
My friends personally consider me one of the most dedicated GB fans that they know of. This is because I have done blogs and YouTube videos all about GB. More specifically, about the long awaited Ghostbusters 3. Moreover, I can not help but quote the movies and games whenever I can.
As a matter of fact, I even decided to finally pull the trigger and be a Ghostbuster this year for Halloween. I personally think I was a better Ghostbuster than Iowa’s Governor (Terry Branstad) who also wanted to be a GB this year. I was the life of the party at my local bar. When they played Ghostbusters on the dance floor, as I was the only person dressed as a Ghostbuster at the time, the entire bar was focused and cheering for me. I loved it. I even pretended to fire my (inflatable) proton pack at my friend who was a demonic jester. The crowd went nuts. Another guy joined me later in the evening and we had our pictures taken for a local free magazine that is popular in the Des Moines metro, Des Moines Juice. Here’s the picture (I’m on the left):
I have decided to commit and try my hand at building my own equipment. All of the plans coming from, you guessed it, here at GBFans.com. I am thinking of doing the real deal for Halloween next year perhaps instead of the generic crappy looking Halloween stuff. I might just actually WIN the most creative costume contest.
