Hi ya’all doin? I’m Joe and my son is addicted to Ghostbusters!!!
(I enjoy it as well)
He wants to be a Ghostbuster for Halloween.
(he wants me to be Slimer)
So I tell him I found a GB costume with a blow up proton pack…
he looks at me as if I’m nuts…
(he is only 6 lol)
He proceeds to show me this video of a Proton Pack that does this and that with authentic lights and tells me “This is what I want”
So I go to ebay and search for Proton Pack…
after my wife dumped ice water on me I came too (after the sticker shock eased)…
So I began my search to find plans, drawings, pictures and ideas on how to build a Proton Pack from scratch…
My search lead me to the GREATEST Ghostbusters Fan page I have ever seen!!! and thats HERE!!!
This weekend my son and I will begin our adventure of building his Proton Pack
then he wants the Ghost trap
then he wants the PKE meter
then he wants the Ecto Googles
then he wants the slime shooter
and so on and so on!!!
I’m tempted to ban him from YouTube!!! He keeps finding these videos of Ghostbusters Propsw!!! LOL…
But seriously as long as he is having fun…thats what counts!! I
I have been all over this site and am amazed at all the info here and so many of you are willing to help and offer so much advice and knowledge!! There are some true craftsmen here!!! Hopefully our build will be like so many others here!!!
