Another Thread About Tru-Spec...

I recently purchased a Tru-Spec flight suit sized XL Long. While the body fit great, the sleeves were INSANELY short. The Arm Inseam measured a mere 20" (Photo attached). I contacted the manufacturer to see if this was some sort of defect, and quite honestly had a less-than-stellar customer service experience. The only thing they would tell me is that the suits are made “to military specifications”. The associate went as far as to send me a copy of the specifications they “use”, which listed the sleeve inseam of a 48 Long at 24". Obviously shorter than what I had, but I got nowhere with them.

SO, that being said- anyone else out there have an XL Long that could measure their arm inseam for comparison? And for those exceptionally tall people (I’m 6’ 5") what do you wear? I currently have a 52L, but don’t like how baggy it is.

I’m not home so I can’t measure, but I did a batch of Truspec suits that I dyed for our group and everyone one of them is short in the arms.

I just received my “XXL Long” Tru-Spec and the sleeves were definitely longer than 20" (though I can’t measure it at the moment).

My issue is that the torso is too short; it rides up on the crotch when I put it on. I don’t dare bend over in it. I’m 6’3" and torso-tall, always have a hard time finding shirts long enough. My dress shirts are 36-37" sleeves, and the Tru-Spec suit seemed to fit as expected on my arms.

Hope that helps!
