I still need to figure out what system I guess I need to break down and buy! I’m pretty out of it as far as games are concerned nowadays and have been for awhile. Other than obviously Mario and a few other things. My brother has all the consoles we had growing up and he has a Wii. I’ll more than likely get that one and play it on his too. :twisted:

I think that depends on if I can finish my gear by the release date more than anything.
My main goal is to make it by Halloween, but I’ve got enough time to finish it by October…right? right?!?

I too am planing on finishing by Halloween.
I started to look about making one last November, started to gather parts in December, started to build in march and am about 50% done by now. I don’t spend that much time on it weekly - I have a day job and family… One main concern is acquiring all that I require to complete it.
I still hope to be complete by Haloween.
I’m totally walking into best buy in my uniform. which means I’ll be riding the bus to get there, meaning i’ll be in my uniform on the bus. I can imagine all the looks I’ll be getting from the people on the bus, some lady working as a nurse, a guy who works as an electrician down town, and some college kids getting a kick out of the ghostbuster.
I actually have a really cool, mascot style Stay Puft costume. I should go to pick it up wearing that. LOL! That would be hilarious!
We had a similiar discussion on this awhile ago, more about actually being hired to show up.
When I contacted Sierra about this they stated we could show up as fans in costume, they had no idea about any kind of midnight release as it would be up to the individual stores to set that up. If anyone wanted to hangout at a store they would need to set that up with the store itself.

In Cleveland where I reserved my cpy, there is a midnight release. Get this, They will have trivia contests and challenges, the winner of which will be walking away with the displays from the store, some t shirts, and a bunch of other free ghostbusters stuff that the store can get its hands on. They never counted on me showing up in full dress, cyclotron blazing. It will be great!!
