Anybody seen a...oh ^_^

Hey, all. I’m Zidders.

I’ve been a huge fan of Ghostbusters since I first saw it. I was ten years old in '84, and the series has had a pretty huge impact on my life. I didn’t have many friends, and got made fun of a lot so I spent most of my time watching cartoons, reading books, and drawing. Ghostbusters gave me a reason to smile at a time when I didn’t really have a lot to smile about.

I’m fascinated with everything the GB fandom does, and of course I can’t wait to see what the new movie has to offer. It’s so cool knowing that there are people out there who love this series as much as I do. I’ve ended up getting back into art lately, and have even managed to become friends with Gabbi, the artist who did the character designs for The Real Ghostbusters cartoon.

I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a 40 year old dude from Coventry, Rhode Island who is currently living in Bertram, Texas with his two amazing partners. I’m pansexual, and a member of both the furry AND brony fandoms. I love pop culture, music, and art (of course). I’ve been playing guitar since 1986, and one of my dreams is to own a purple sparkle Epiphone Les Paul. I love to write poetry, and at some point I’m planning on self-publishing a book of poems similar to Shel Silverstein’s ‘Where the Sidewalk Ends’.

My dream is to spend the rest of my life making people smile via my art, poetry, writing, and music. I’m a silly/goofy/sappy weirdo, and I hope to maybe give some of you a reason to smile. Most of all what I’d really like to accomplish is to not only help people love Ghostbusters more I’d also like to help you all love yourselves so much more.

You deserve it!

Welcome aboard, Zidders!

You’ll be in good company as we have more than a few other folks who also identify as an artist, and I’m sure the interest in guitars will also draw plenty of interest.
