Hey all. This may seem odd but I’m trying to find other members who are going to see the 30th Anniversary showing in Boston, MA on the 29th. Maybe have a meetup with fellow GBFans before the movie. I’m thinking of going with my pack but I’m still shaky on the idea since I think I might be the only one there. If you are going, do you plan to go in uniform?
I’ll be at the 29th Somerville showing in uniform with pack, pke, ecto goggles, kenner trap, etc. Ecctatic. Called the theatre, they have no problem with it.
I would, but we’re gonna be down in Atlanta for Dragoncon. Hope you guys get a good turnout!
Really wish I could be there, but this is the first im hearing of it, and I had a prior engagement. If I knew soon id deffinatly show up in my uniform with pack and trap.
They are showing it on Saturday and Sunday as well. Tickets were still available when I just bought my Friday tickets.
After some thought, I’m probably going to go in my uniform T-Shirt and GB 1984 varsity hoodie. I don’t have the balls to go in my duck-tape proton pack >.< Still up for meeting some fellow GBFan, though
I was nervous my first time out with my pack. But honestly people have no concrete recollection of what is looks like. Just a vague concept. I’d say go for it
My pack is a stack of shaped cardboard glued and spraypainted black with a painted cake pan, water bottle, and some lose wiring. I did wear it to PAX East but there were a lot of cosplayers there so I didn’t feel as self-conscious. I still have time to work on it and change my mind, so we’ll see what happens.
We all gotta start somewhere. Glad to see there are other ghost heads in Boston.
