Is it just me or is the LifegardII dying to be made into a flask somehow? You know, for Ecto Coolers of course.
It has a dial at top that could double as a screw on lid… or has someone already done this? I didn’t find one in my searching.

Circle City Ghostbuster have a video with a LifeGuard flask…However its just showing that they have a lifeguard flask. I havent seen a how-to or anything
Really? That’s my local Ghostbusters group. I’ll have to ask them.
(I have not started busting yet myself)
Here is that Circle City Ghostbusters video mentioned. New I couldn’t have been the first to see a flask there. ![]()
The Circle City guys are a really good group. Im in Dayton Ohio and have run into them a few times. Ghostbuster Ryan helped out the RealOhio Ghostbusters quite a bit last year. He is really good at building stuff and coming up with new ways to do things, so good guy to talk to if you need to figure out something. Though they seem to have multiple good builders in the group.
The original idea for a Lifegard as a flask came from Fernando (xxectoxx). He conveyed the idea to me and I conveyed it to them. Nothing ever came of it.
This sounds amazing, any more info on it?
Sorry to revive a dead post, but this was something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and finally got around to doing it.
I picked up a 3D printed Lifegard on Etsy. It was hollow, and the back was attached with screws. All I did was pop the top knob off, hollow it out to make room for the cap, and drilled a hole where the knob originally attached. A small tubular flask I picked up on Amazon fit in there nicely.

I’d like to find a bigger flask that would fit, this one doesn’t hold much, maybe an ounce or so. There’s still room inside the shell, I just need to find a bigger flask that’s the right size and shape. May look into a plastic bladder of some sort.
xxEctoxx came up with the idea years ago and Nic from CCGB did a version of it.
