Its been a while since a picture showed up on Instagram of Ecto-1a, any follow up?

Those are OLD pictures, so I imagine its much worse
Last picture I saw was more or less the same. It was last year. She was sitting in a parking lot. The roof rack was sitting behind her and all the random parts sitting inside.
A part of me just died tonight after seeing those pictures.
A damn shame.

Late last year, (2014)
The 1A was parked out at the Sony Prop warehouse parking lot, that’s where you’ll see some pictures of it floating around where it’s pretty stripped, rusting, and the rack behind it.
After some issues with attempts at purchasing the car, it was “Relocated” and hasn’t resurfaced.
Went with JoeLuna33 to check out the warehouse after things went down with people trying to buy the 1A, and we’re both fairly certain they loaded the vehicle into a large metal shipping container near where the car was parked to make it “Temporarily vanish”
during my last trip to L.A., a friend and I got to tour some of Sony’s property privately. I know they moved the car to an area where nobody will be able to photograph it. They weren’t too thrilled about the GBfans petition to buy the car.
I had a feeling something like that was up. AJ made a big splash about the petition, said he was sending it in…and then we didn’t hear a peep. Even in the main thread I brought that up and he didn’t say anything.
On a related note, maybe Sony shouldn’t keep the car as a rusty pile of shit and we wouldn’t make such a fuss.
