I have the Ecto-1 and Mini Puft bucket from Afterlife (Mini Puft, Slimer and Muncher plushies too). Also Sonic from Part 3…the one where he’s holding a red bucket. Not putting real greasy popcorn in them though. I don’t have a Yoshi but there’s plushies I’d rather have. Don’t really care about the egg.
I think novelty popcorn buckets are cool but it has to be something I’m really into. Exclusives suck, especially because I live in a small town. There are no major theaters here. I was surprised my local theater got the Slimer cups and little Sonic plushies. I didn’t get any because I have other Sonic plushies and was not interested in the cup. I still really want the Mini Puft wearing 3D glasses. I’d like the translucent Slimer too.
Scalpers are terrible for a lot of things. They don’t deserve a penny and I would never buy from one. I really think eBay should have some kind of rule where you’re not allowed to sell anything new for 1 year. I know that would be hard to implement but stuff like toys, electronics and collectibles should not be allowed on there for at least 1 year from release.

Over the top? Definitely, and that happened years ago.
Not sure how they could become cliché… Overpriced and too limited in their production run? Absolutely.

I missed out on the Sonic 3 bucket, Got Yoshi. (Huge Mario fan) (didn’t care for the Luma ones.)
I missed Deadpool’s helmet by a minute, got the wolverine helmet instead. Got the Ecto-1 from afterlife, the Slimer from FE, missed the new Ecto bucket by seconds (Scalpers) Got The handbook for the recently deceased, the sandworm bucket, missed the FE trap, got a couple from Tron and Fantastic four. (My theatre didn’t get the light cycles sadly.)
I’m not impressed with Mortal Kombat’s line up but still holding hope for Mandalorian and Grogu. I’d love a wearable mando helmet!
I don’t remember if I’ve mentioned this but my Afterlife Ecto-1 is missing the logo on the passenger side. I like to think they replaced the GB2 logos with the original but didn’t get around to finishing it. Haha. Or maybe Egon transitioned it back while in Summerville. Either way that makes me like it even more.
