How come the Belt Gizmo is just bundled under “other props”? In my opinion the belt gizmo is probably the 2nd most important prop on the GB costume after the proton pack. (3rd if you count the Uniform as a “prop”).
I know it would be a real pain in the arse to do but it would be great to see the Belt Gizmo get it’s own section in the “Equipment” section. Any chance of this happening please?
Even the Giga Meter has it’s own section… the Giga Meter is a VERY cool prop and looks great but it’s not an “essential” item.

The Belt Gizmo, as cool as it is is not significant a prop to have it’s own section of the site. I’ll elaborate with the next quote you made:

Essential? Maybe not, but it is a signature piece of kit. It’s the PKE Meter of Ghostbusters II, and as it’s one of the hardest props to replicate, maybe it deserves a bit of extra promotion…
But the Belt Gizmo is purely cosmetic, it doesn’t do anything… because it does nothing, it’s relegated to the Uniform section, like the radios. It’s a part of the collective whole of the uniform, rather than a prop by itself.
Besides, it’s not the only thing not to feature its own section, the Tripod Traps, Kud Meter, Ghost Sniffer, items which had more activity and more impact do not have their own sections either.
that’s a tough call. both of you make a great argument. It’s a piece of machinery, therefore is a piece of equipment, so maybe tiger has a point. Not sure if it’s worth having AJ go and change up the site though.
+1 Kingpin. The fact of the matter is, it isn’t technically used on screen and doesn’t really function as an essential part of the GBs equipment. It’s basically just there for effect, so I don’t see any point of it being included as a “prop”.
Fair enough and points well made, thanks again (everyone)! Might be an idea for admin to go through the “other props” section and move all the threads in there relating to the belt-gizmos (Including mine, sorry! :oops: ) to the Uniform section.
