Making a pair of gizmos for the husband and I. I decided just to go with old circuit boards for simplicity’s sake, and for a little bit of customization. I’ll be adding the nixie tubes and associated wires and resistors next. Not sure what to do for the caps on top of the nixie tubes yet.

Coming together nicely.
Looks good. I used fuses for my nixie tubes. I’ll upgrade to a fancier board someday but I’ve always used old real boards. Mine right now has the red yellow and white AV plugs still on it. Like you said, it’s personalized.
Starting to come together more each day (as the glue dries!). Decided to make a slightly larger leather holster piece so that things weren’t so crammed. Next step: mount the circuit board to the holster, attach daughter board cord.
