Hi, i’m currently building a trap from one of Nick-a-Tron’s kits (after ruining the body of my Matty trap when trying to make it less toy-looking), but was wondering what the best/most accurate light kit is?
I’l be doing a fixed cartridge GB1 trap with no door servos (is this a Hero? Sedgewick? I know a bit about the differences but can’t distinguish some things), but was looking to put in some lights to make it look and act properly. But, what is the most accurate kit?
I can only see Hyperdyne, which seems a bit expensive seeing as though i only want some lights (but it does have the LED at the end of the front indicator), and Jupiter Electronics, which is more reasonable (and the V2 kit has a decent light pattern), but it doesn’t have the end LED and wouldn’t fit right into my MMM indicator plate. Also i just want the movie style light pattern from the Sedgewick scene like the Matty trap has in movie mode, so the indicator fills up and then empties as the LED stays lit, with the battery indicator flashing (without looping until the switch is turned off and on again?)
Does this kit even exist? If not, is someone with the expertise able to produce a run of them? Or is the demand not that great for this type of light kit? It just seems that there isn’t one that is completely accurate to the movie (specifically the first bust) and all seem to wave around like KITT’s scanner bar.
Look forward to hearing your replies.
Dan.
