I was bored this morning so I made these. I thought they looked cool. Just a substitute until the mattel blast streams come out.
Nice job. What did you make them out of?
I made them out of the clear twisty ties that tie toys in their package like the transformers. I used sharpies for color.
I really like that idea and never would have thought to use them. And the coloring worked out really well. Did you mark up your hands in the process though?
I didn’t get much on my hands. Just some on the tips of my fingers when i twisted them together. I laid them on a piece of paper and held onto the end and colored it as i rolled it.

I got a late start into getting these figures. I just got those 3 last week. Luckily I got them for a little less than what I would of paid for them from matty. I would like to have the first egon but no way I’m going to pay the price people are selling them for. I found Walter Peck online the other day so I’m waiting for on and lab coat ray.

It doesn’t matter to me if they put “messy stuff” on them. I’m just glad mattel put these figures out. I wanted figures like these since I was a kid. I’ll probably get the 12" 2 pack when it comes out cause i missed out on those as well. Hopefully matty will release some different characters and ghosts.
Very cool job on the blast streams. It looks better than anything that could be commercially made.

i think ur right for the “messy stuff”.no big deal..im waiting for winston to arrived to complete my 12"line..i think if they releasing another 12"character i would probably not to buy them..my goal for 12"is to complete the 4..i want to!!but so very xpensive..i focus to 6" line for the another variety..i definitely buy all 6 inch release..those lab coat and courtroom attire,i love them

You can also use acrylic rods, I’ve seen others use it as well.
Personally I think the acrylic rods are the best solution till we get Mattel’s streams

Kenny: (1) I appreciate you have them blasting the “Chomper Ghost” and (2) what did you use for Egon’s PKE?
I used a Playmates star trek the next generation phaser, modified it a little and for the wings I used bits of an old G.I. joe bow.
For the Chomper ghost it was a nice rendez-vous with Winston;)
Kenny_a thanks for the comment about my streams, yours is 100 times better than mine! I think they are just as good as the ones mattel is coming out with if not better. Where can you get those acrylic rods?

The red ones are :Fluorescent Rod 3/32’’ and the blue ones are :Rod Round Fluorescent Blue 1/16’'.
