Hi all ghosthead i need help to find a proton pack. I am open to all idea .
Make… They’re aren’t many sellers of Proton Packs out there, and if you do find one (there are a few), you’ll be paying a premium for the labor… Also, you won’t be able to build it the way you want to… If you build it yourself, not only will you save yourself a lot of money, but you’ll know exactly what you did when you built it, so if any repairs or upgrades are needed, you’ll know exactly what needs to be done…
Everything pyhasanon said is true. It’s also a ton of fun and a point of pride to build your own.

Building your own pack is the best way to go. Having made five packs over the past several years, I’ve learned so much about fiberglass laying, silicone molding, resin casting, metal working, soldering, Arduino programming, vinyl printing, carpentry, painting, hardware, etc.
These guys are all posting great reasons to build your own pack but don’t let it shame you out of buying one if the opportunity comes up! I bought mine and still learned a lot about it and the build process by making it my own and shoring up a few things that needed attention since it was first built. Either option fulfills the goal of becoming a Ghostbuster, right? 
Either way is acceptable. If you enjoy making things then it’s a great project to work on and all of the benefits that the above posts are talking about are absolutely true. My first pack was made for me by a friend and I did some customizations once I received it. It’s great if you want to just dive in and have a complete outfit quickly.
I’m building my new pack though and it’s quite an experience, but I’m loving the process that goes into it. One thing that I can definitely say is that I feel much more like this pack is mine compared to my first one since I’m picking every single part that goes into it and making every stylistic decision about it in terms of painting, weathering, and arranging the internals.
Both are viable options. My build was therapeutic and made me a ton of new friends in real life, but saying that I have also dealt with a number of vendors who also do commission builds that are top notch. I’d never talk someone out of either provided due diligence was done (IE consult with feedback on here and the blacklisted sellers etc) if they chose either method. I will say this - I take a certain amount of pride in knowing I built this mothaf&%^a!!!
Where possible, I’d always recommend building it, as it then makes the Pack much more personal, and gives you a sense of achievement and accomplishment from having build it yourself. 
If you wish to buy one however, then it always pays to dig into the person selling it, there are folks out there (Videobob for instance) who make and sell shoddy products, and thorough research will help you avoid these untrustworthy individuals.
There are times when I want to throw in the towel and just buy one off of eBay or commission someone to do it for me, but making the pack has been a great hobby for me. That, and I know I’ll get it just the way I want it.
Being a very hands-on type person, I’ve only ever built one pack straight from buying parts through this site, or eBay. I’ve built most of my equipment, including three proton packs, street from scratch.
For me, I have a lot more sense of pride and accomplishment if I’ve built most of my stuff myself. It also depends on what I’m going for with my build. If I wanted as close to 100% accurate as possible, then sure, I would be buying up all the fantastic kits and parts I could. I am very much trying to make The stuff I make my own this time, so I’m not sticking to any particular equipment plans, or movie/cartoon incarnation.Again, this is me, and not judging anyone else for what they wish to do.
