Guyver hasn’t posted on the forum in 13 years. Even if he did, there’s no guarantee he ever knew who owned the white Humvee back in the day.
Being it’s from 2006, and with multiple Hummers in the lot, I have to say it could very likely be from Lynch Hummer. They were the largest dealer in the US for many years. They are no longer a Hummer dealer as GM stopped making Hummer years ago.
If you could afford it, i’d go with the new version or wait for a military auction to go up.
Any vehicle can be an Ecto… I got a lot of compliments on my Ecto last Halloween.
Yeesh, the 2025 Humvee just doesn’t hold a candle to how cool the 1985 model looked. It’s kinda like (though not quite as bad) as the 2010 redesign of the Daleks, too smooth and plasticy, and generally lacking the charm of the original.
Yeah, it’s more of a civilian look then a militaristic appearance. I’m not opposed to EV’s as long as they work and don’t blow up in the winter. That’s progress I suppose.
The look is cool enough to work for a modern Ecto but I’m betting people well still cut you off as a form of protest not knowing the new version is electric. I like the Tesla but it looks like the Delorian and a pickup decided to have a child and gave up halfway through. Lol.

I’m actually really glad you bumped this thread. Seeing that Humvee gave me the ambition to make of these. They search for the right Hummer and equipment is currently underway.

Since when did military Humvee prices skyrocket?!?! I’ve been on the hunt for one since this thread was bumped and it is tough!! There must be some precious metals in them that i don’t know about because even clapped out ones are demanding high prices. Not giving up hope though
The classic military-style Hummer has an iconic look, and after having appeared in 40 years’ worth of film and television media I’m not that surprised its prices are high, as they’re still probably highly-sought after… As your own quest attests to. 
I remember, maybe 10 years ago or so, that the prices of civilian H1 had dropped. I guess March of 2020 changed that! Still on the hunt for the right Humvee!
