Has anyone either found cheaper parts or even used creativity to find pieces that would work for the hero pack? I got this m&m container from Wal~Mart to use as my n-filter on the bottom of the pack. Instead of using a Pringles can. An it looks great. I just wanted to check if anyone’s used anything else, found anything else?

Don’t tell anyone, but I’m using a Dale PH-25 resistor with the little ring on top.
They’re much cheaper. 
A lot of people go the PVC route for most of the parts. The plumbing section of Lowes or Home Depot have been very good to a lot of the members here!
Well when people use pvc what do they do to cap the pieces off or what? I’ve never built anything with pvc so I don’t really know much about it.
Ive seen them use PVC endocarps that screw on, or they cover it with smaller pieces of plastic and use epoxy putty to simulate weld lines, or keep it smooth.
