Granted its green but it totally could fit inside a thrower. I bet you could change out the bar display.
I actually order this and will let everyone know how it works out. It could be a cheap way for the bar graph on the gun. PLus they have some nice led kits for the pack

Well I may try to put a screen over the display to turn the LEDs amber/yellow/red. Heck may even be able to buy a bar graph and subsitute it. When I get it, I will post it on here with some video as well.

What about using that one; and replace the two yellow and green LEDs with red ones?
It may not light up in the sequence the Proton Pack does, but it’d still be rather nice.

Ok I got the kit in today and I must say looks very nice. Of course I thought when you ordered one, it came pre assmebled. But looking at the instructions, it is very easy to do. Also the green bargraph and can be changed with a red one they had at radio shack. I am going to try them out tonight when I get home from work and see what happens.
OK i installed this bad boy yesterday and the pattern is flashing back and forth. It is very nice for the price. I mean just little over 6.50 plus shipping is well worth it. I even went to Radio Shack and got the red bar graph they have there and it works as well. The most I spent on this was 10 dollars and it is a nice subsitute for the bar graph on the gun. When ever I find my camera, will take some videos of it tonight and post them. My next test is to see how long a 9 volt battery would last. I am also going to make a switch for it to put on my gun.

The bar graph is supposed to make it look like the lines are moving left to right and they can go slow, fast, or always on. Now I made some modifacations I think that would look better on the gun. You can control the speed of the bars and I think that is the best way.
Now when you get this kit, it comes with a green bar graph, but I went to radio shack and got a red one and I think it looks a lot better.

Is the center light on your bargraph not working or is it supposed to do that?
It is not working. I actually have it set to make the middle one not power on. If I wanted to, I would have to make a connection to it for it to power up.
