welcome simon. i think this place it the right place to make your thread, cause i dont think there is an ‘introduce yourself’ thread here. anyways, this place is full of information. all you have to do is look around. at the top of each page, under the caution tape, there is a search function. it will be your friend… for the most part. if you have a question about something, give the search function a try, chances are there is already an answer out there for ya. people here are pretty good about helping out for the most part. its when you see questions like “where can i buy a pack” , “who sells lights”, “what color is the flight suit”, and things that which have been answered over and over again is where you’ll start getting answer that are sarcastic. like i said, search first, then ask. also, do a search for newbie, or noobie. there are some guys out there who are “newbies” that have produced some sweet ass gear. the reason i point this out is to show you what can be done when you put in the effort. so good luck, have fun, and remember… take your time. dont rush to get your gear done.
