Hey all, just checking, this boxset will play on ANY dvd player won’t it? i.e. a british one, or PAL ps3/360.

The set is encoded to Region 0, and will definately play on multi-region DVD players, and should work on most nomal DVD players.

This set is in NTSC. So, unless your player converts NTSC to PAL. you might be out of luck. Although, if your player doesn’t, you could always pick up a cheap DVD player that does convert. Or play them on a computer (which will usually play anything).

Edit: Also, you could check to see if your model of TV can read or convert the NTSC signal to PAL. It’s a long shot, but a few of them do.

Edit again: I’ve been searching around on google and apparently it’s easier for a PAL player/TV to convert the signal than vice versa. It says that if you have a newer TV, then you’re probably OK.

I’ve had trouble in the past converting PAL to NTSC and assumed it was the same. Apparently not.
