I just went on the collectormania site and its not in the shopping center like it normally is.
That normally puts me off going. The new venue looks like its got more room so may go to this 
It’s at the Football stadium like last time.
Hmmm thinking about it. If anyone’s turning up in costume, don’t bother going into the exhibit hall. It got very crowded last time I was there. Best to stay around the outside stalls.
I think Linda Hamilton and Danny John Jules are the standout names for me. I shall definitely be there.
For those intending to visit, Slavitza is planning to attend on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, all three days of the convention. The price of £15 has been posted in regards (presumably) to the charge for her autograph, and she will be taking part in a photoshoot session - currently only scheduled for Sunday.
Hmmm looks like I’ll be there Sunday then most probably.
I just purchased my ticket for the photo session on Sunday 30th May…said time will be announced closer to time but I’ve got my spot in line 
So who is going to this? Still need to sort what day is best for me to attend??
Seeing as im on a budget are there any cheap hotels near the venue?
All things working out, both Carl and I will be driving up on the Sunday in costume with gear. I may even visit on Saturday to get some autographs from the Boys from the Dwarf.
Sunday appears to be the best day, the majority of the gears appearing in costume appear to be planning to visit Sunday as that coincides with Slavitza’s photos (Sunday only).
Don’t know about hotels, I’m afraid. Might be worth seeing if someone else from Manchester on the UK GB forum is also planning to attend, maybe you guys can carpool and split a room.

Hey guys, sorry to chime in late to this, i’m definately going, i’m getting the photo session and everything. I’m coming on the train from Manchester, just wondering who is going to be attending for sure? I was going to go with Hasford1978 but he has other commitments so will be traveling down alone most likely. Plan on coming down on saturday and staying over the night, anyone else doing this? If so, any heads up on hotels etc? Would be cool to have a few gbs in the same hotel, definately would prompt some Sedgewick reinactments

The majority will be there in costume on the Sunday. I’ll also be there on Saturday (out of costume) to get some autographs (and maybe do a bit of principal photography if I do end up videoing some of the event.

Hey guys, so I’ve been looking around at hotels and most are wanting me out of the room for around 10.30. This is gonna be a pain because I’ll have nowhere to stash my case and a ghostbuster wheeling around a suitcase kinda kills the image somewhat. I was wondering if anyone on the sunday would let me put my empty case in their car if they’re driving? I’d pay of course. I’ve contacted Collectormania about this seeing if there’s anywhere i can put it but they’ve not got back yet. The only other way i’d be able to get my gear down is not stay over and get up at stupid oclock, get my gear on, bus it then train it to milton keynes, and the weight of my pack on my back for all that time may very well snap my spine
