I was doing my daily catch-up with all the active forums and checking out some different profiles, and I had a curious thought. I noticed that alot of us are college students. I’m curious, what are everyone’s majors? I was just wondering what kind of demographic follows this awesome franchise. I’m a physical education major at the University of North Alabama. I want to coach football baby!
I’m majoring in Elementary Education at Tennessee Technological University. If/when I graduate, I’d like to teach 4th or 5th grade, preferably in a small town.
I’m majoring in Business Professional Studies at Davenport University. I wanted to keep my options open, but I’d prefer to own my own business at some point in time.
Mechanical Engineer.
I’ll probably become a college dropout..
I graduated in 03 got a degree in broadcasting, now i’m a radio dj..yay…lol
DJ you say? That sounds like a fun job. On a sidenote, I definitely see where you’re coming from on the dropout thing AJ. I just finished my sixth semester, and A&P and biology have been my toughest classes. I can’t imagine all the friggin’ math you have to take.
i was a elementary ed, minor special, but with my ems backround i changed to nursing and wanting to be in the er.
i can vouch for that. microbiology and chem suck too. my hardest class is going to be next semester. its pathophysiology… a 7 credit class
Pathophysiology? Good lord. I can remember wanting to look into some parapsychology classes when I was a freshman in high school. Pipe dreams…
Right on! I kick out the jams as a DJ and the Program Director for WTTU 88.5 FM, my college station.
Hell yeah! The pay starting out sucks though!..lol
Well my plan was to get a degree in computer programming but in '89 there really wasn’t much being offered…
So I started to take classes geared towards a degree in Chemistry and/or Biology but after 2 years I dropped out as it wasn’t what I really wanted to do… Add to that I had already taken multiple college level Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics classes in high school, it made the colledge classes BORING as it was simply the same thing over again… I could have tested out of the 101 classes and possibly made college more interesting, but was advised not to as it would mess up credits and the test might not be honored from another college forcing me to take the class anyway…
Oh well no regrets, college isn’t for everyone and I have never looked back…
Computer Science major, right now… it’s changed so many damn times that I wouldn’t be surprised if I change it again.

I’m a Political Science major at Georgia Southwestern State University. My minor is History. I previously attended a Two Year university and as such I currently hold several Associate Degrees. My plans include graduating next fall and pursuing a Juris Doctor and a Masters concurrently. Most likely my Masters will be in Public Administration, or Economics or Environmental Science if I get in the right school =)
I just finished my Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts/Psychology. I’m hoping to be able to transfer to the University of Iowa within the next year for a double major in Cinema and Graphic Design.

That sounds a little too familiar…

This makes me feel a bit better.
I think I am going to try to throttle back down to 1-2 classes a semester (with Summer Classes).
I just don’t have the time to devote myself to 4-5 classes and suceed in them all.
4-5 classes? Try 6-7 every semester! 18-21 hours of insanity make me even more crazy.
I got my Associates Degree in Video Production with emphasis on editing last summer from Pellissippi State in Knoxville. ![]()
Have an MA in English Language and Culture, after which I did a post-graduate first-degree teaching qualification course. I teach English now at the Language Centre and the English Department of the University of Groningen.
And then you ask: geez, but why ghostbusters?
I reply “Must be past-life experience intruding on present time. It could also be a raised memory stored in the collective subconscious :-)”

You work in radio too? What station?
