It HAUNTS me! Looking for THIS weekend… finally. I will have the fender flares done, once and for all. Once I have them on (takes like… an hour to get them on), I can apply the graphics, once and for all.
Hopefully my seats will come this week… once and for all.
Goddammit, I just got this! >.< And it’s really funny.
Allright dudes, since there seems to be a pronounced lack of ghostheads in the colorado area (minus almanfish), I am rededicating my group the Colorado Ghostbusters.
Ya know Boomer, you’re right! We medically need more Ghostbusters in Co, so I’ll throw my hat in!
This Halloween just passed I remembered how much freakin’ fun it is to wander around town with ‘the gear’ on!
It’s Richie by the way, or The Doctor from MySpace, or Aurther Dent from Star Fest (such a long time ago!). I’ve been lurking for quite awhile now, but I just HAD to speak-up on this topic!
Also, this coming saturday marks the Fort Collins Downtown Car Show, a HUGE event. I’ll be there with the jeep and the ecto, in full gear, hopefully with Richie, Laura, and Shauna. You’re more than welcome to join us if you can get up here.
Allright, I am all situated down in Denver. Going ecto-ing in LoDo tonight, should be a load of fun. I think we should all get together in the coming months and hit up the Ghost Blasters ride at Elitch’s, whaddaya say?
Logan and I had just gone to see The Dark Knight on IMAX and we were wondering what the nightlife of Denver was like on a Sunday night. We headed to LoDo and found it to be relatively empty, as expected. So we decided to drive around and scope out places that would be neat for long-exposure photography. Shortly after a police car turned turned onto our street, began turning another direction and then zeroed in on my car, taking a hard turn and popping on his lights.
I figured I was up for a lengthy conversation about the legality of lightbars with a cop bored on a sunday night. Turns out he and partner just wanted to take pictures. It was pretty much the same drill as when we first rolled the car out in Fort Collins. “Do the lights work?” “Yes.” “Hell, run 'em! Tell me you’ve got the siren.” “Sure do!”
His partner got on the radio and called in all her on-duty buddies, before we knew it we had the entire street blocked off with six squad cars! Apparently their sergeant and lieutenant came down to see it, too. Turned into a complete fiasco. I talked to the officers while Logan took pictures.
Man, I miss sweet home Colorado - where the cops had time and demeanor to do something like this. Out here in LA all they do is pull you over and either ticket you or beat the crap out of you.
