CTS is basically like a large toy flea market. Patrons are encouraged to dress up for fun. Tons of vintage and new-age toys, collectables, and more. Not a huge event, but it’s still pretty fun. Will most likely get mobbed for pics if we get a decent-sized group to attend.
A few of us local guys are planning on attending this, wearing our Star Wars costumes for part of the day, Ghostbuster for the other part.
The ROGB Central will be there so there will be a GB presence there all day. Alas, the rest of us don’t have badass Mandalorian armor to don like our boys Big Jon and Travis the geek…But it’ll still be alot of fun. I mean getting to dress up and look at toys? How awesome is that?!
Just tossing my $.02 in here real quick. It’s looking like Jon and I are going to be in our GB gear all day after all. We’ve done the Star Wars thing there several times and it’s just starting to feel like everyone’s seen it. The Ghostbusters should really blow them away, though. This is going to be a great event.
(Oh, and in case you were wondering, we have seen old GB toys there before. They even had the old firehouse, but I think Jon bought it.)
Not sure if I’ll be up early enough to sit down for breakfast and be there by 8-9am. I may just snag something on the way. We could do a late lunch / early dinner after we get done at the show (only goes 'til 3…won’t have to stay ALL day).
I haven’t messaged Jeff, I figured he would probably see this eventually. LOL I’ll shoot him a PM.
Lunch might be a better option. It’s worked in the past … for the most part. (Assuming you can keep from spilling your drink in the back of Jon’s van. lol.)
