Spoke to a rep from Sony Pictures Studios today and they stated that the ECTO 1 has been removed from their lot and is being refurbished by a local shop. It won’t be back on the tour for awhile.
well if thats really true …and i hope it is…hopefully they will do it RIGHT…no more spray paint over chrome!..what about the ecto1a…thats in worse shape
Intriguing… the 25th Anniversary of the first movie (and 20th of the second) is but two years away…

Not saying either are connected but given this is Sony I suspect they’re planning some sort of event involving the old girl.
Darn! And I was planning to go on Sony Tour to take a look at Ecto 1!
