I gave you a honest answer, and you told me to go screw myself. Few websites, if they knew the contact details, would likely give them out.
In all honesty even if the sites do have these addresses, they’re probably out of date. Unless the person knows the actor is is an EXTREME digger, they’re only getting the information same as you are. I did once retrieve an address for Dan Aykroyd…pfff, must have been almost 10 years ago. I tried writting him and believe it or not I got a response from his agent stating the address I had written to was wrong and he had speculated I could have only gotten it from the internet…DUH.
He gave me a correct address I could mail to and needless to say I never did it. Actor’s as such often have multiple homes or are even traveling pretty constantly, even if just to stay out of people’s site. The only real way to get in touch with people of that caliber is in a professional manner through channels. Even then you may not here back. As Cyland props has said, Ernie Hudson does have his own web site and if memory serves last time I checked there MAY even be a fan mail contact. Ernie is just a bit more personable with the fans. This is all I can offer, and good luck. While the mass may SEEM like jerks, they’re simply being blunt. Otherwise, I cant say I disagree with any of them.

there is no “SEEM” to it. they are. take kingpin for example. still no im sorry. he just doesnt care. important people like mattel and im sure Dan, Bill, Herold, and Ernie all read things from this site, and people like kingpin represent the fans of Ghostbusters. its no wonder they are struggling to do a new things for gb fans(not the site). there are people who give crappy answers and are ass’ to other members. he’s just a jerk and is in that 90%. others agree with me. check his record of post. the members who apologized are good people are respectable fans and deserve a pat on the back from the community. i also appreciate their apology. i will do my part and make myself more clear in hopes that i may get a real answer instead of a jerk off answer from kingpin. hows that for honesty???

Putting aside the point that as far as I’m aware, this site has never had the contact info of the principal cast, you still shouldn’t have assumed it’d have that knowledge, or that the administration would divulge it.
Sometimes that stuff is kept in confidence so that the actor in question deals directly with those he or she wishes to talk to, the more common time it’s kept in confidence is to avoid stalkers, as not everyone seeking to make contact has pure motives (and there was no indication at all that that had been your attempt in the original post).
I do believe that being more clear in your original post would have prevented much of the subsequent unplesantness. While I applaud your new commitment to clarity your most recent post still has some issues which unfairly detract from the message you’re trying to convey. Wishing to help but being unsure of your circumstances I shall attempt to point out areas that I think are hurting your interaction with these boards.
The first, most grevious problem is the lack of capitol letters:

I hope this proves helpful to you, in general most people on this board will do what they can for people but only if they understand the question and it isn’t too open-ended. 
Everyone around here knows what a jerk kingpin can be. He thinks he’s funny, but most of his behavior just comes off as juvenile, and his actions generally boil down simply harassment. Frankly, I’m surprised he gave you such a straightforward answer instead of just posting a meme or other internet picture that he thinks is particularly clever. I can speak from first-hand experience and say that I understand where you’re coming from, we’re not terribly proud of him even though he has somehow forced himself to the forefront of the community. A lot of us are saddened that he often represents the community because his activities are so visible, but we have yet to find a way to really combat it short of kicking him out of the community outright. I know that at least one mod has quit due to what he’s helped make this fandom into, a good mod who was reliable and even-handed.

Ty for your apology kingpin.It’s not bull shit proton charger. Yes, everyone is dying in their on way, but others are dying due to Cystic Fibrosis (like this person). We are all born into this world dying. The way you are dying is the difference. the AZGB’s are helping people everyday that are dying do to a disease, not natural causes or old age. Instead these people are dealt a hand of cards that they weren’t ready for, and like Peter said, “That is where we come in.” That is my reason for saying he was being inconsiderate and an ass. I’m sorry for making a big deal out of this. I just want to help people. Thats all. I visit the local Children’s and Women Hospital as a GB, and these childrens faces light up. They forget for awhile the tough times and laugh and have fun. One special childs story touched my heart and made me want to do something special for him. I asked him if he would like to meet the guys in the movies, and he got real excited and said, “Can you do that?” I told him i could try, and i pointed him to THIS site.When he sees that you are calling bullshit on his life and struggle he will be crushed!!! I will do what ever it takes to help him and others that are less fortunate and going threw hardships.
