My girlfriend and I have never attended a con, but she loves horror movies, especially the Nightmare on Elm St. series, so we are going to go to the Ultimate Horror Weekend in October. We always assumed most cons were revolved around comic books, but we were curious if there were any others coming up in Florida that we might look into. Thanks.

spooky empire! is the best con in Florida is not like any other con you will ever go to 
and this year Robert Englund will be there so shell be happy
but there is always some kind of con. happening for the most part but spooky, mega con and FX are the main good ones
If you like po-dunk iron men (have to check the firstcoast gb face book to get the joke) there is a con every other week in jacksonville. His cons are lame though. unless you like watching po-dunk iron men fallen off scooters
Was starting to plan to attend this con for the first time this year and this just sealed the deal. I heart the original Nightmare series.
