Custom Prop Project... Need help Wiring.

I’m working on taking an old Braun elctric razor and converting into a sort of PKE meter. I want to place an LED light bar at the top that will run from left to right then right to left At a slow pace when a switch is in the low sopt and then do the same at a fast pace when in the higher spot.

I have no idea what i need to accomplish this, unfortuantely I know little about constructing electronics. I need some guidance on anything from what typ of wire to use to what type of relay I might need (if at all I have to use a relay).

Any info anyone has will be a great help thanks.

I’m also planning on documenting the whole thing and adding a tutorial if I can ever pull it off.

You’re looking for an LED “scanner” sequencer? Similar to what KITT from Knight Rider had? Try searching online for those terms: “LED scanner sequencer” or “LED sequencer kitt”. You can find instructions for them online. Some electronics places even sell kits for them.

Standard LED sequencer instructions are more common. You might take a look at those for a start. Read up some. They really aren’t difficult to build.
