After the explosion in the first movie, when they are climbing out of the marshmallow and debris, I noticed Ray’s Cyclotron lights were stopped and just had a steady light. But later on they are all off.
What I was wondering (and yes over thinking) has anyone thought to put in their light kit the sound of the streams crossing and some sort of overload where the cyclotron is frozen? Or was this just a continuity error in the film ( this would be my guess since Ray’s pack is the only one that does it.)
I know the video game now has the pack vent sounds but, I was wondering if anyone had done this prior to the video game coming out?
What your probably seeing is the stunt pack.. If you watch the part just before the sceen your referencing where they are all huddled around coming up with the cross the streamed plan, I believe its the stunt pack Pete is wearing, the lights are steady on. I don’t think they took the time to wire up all the same light effects between the hero and the stunt packs.
I am actually workin on setting up a kind of overload style design and sounds to go with based on a mix up of the actual Sony sound clips and the video game sounds. I’m going to implement all of this to go with custom lighting effects once GhostGuys MIGHTY Microcontroller is released.
It’s really the only way I know of currently that will allow me to set something like this up with out me having to essentially build my own kit from scratch.
I don’t want to reveal all of my plans until it is actually completed and I have a video to back it all up.
It’s actually pretty easy once it’s pointed out. The Stunt packs have a different “finish” then the actual packs (Since one is paint and the other is straight foam), they’re rather floppy and bendy (‘I love this plan!’ scene where Venkman’s ion arm is bending on the wall) and the straps are entirely different. (He slimed me)
