Did I Imagine This? (Looking for a particular comic)

Hello all. First post, w00t!

I’ve been trying to find a copy of a comic from my childhood (i.e. just over a decade ago), and I’m almost certain it involved the Ghostbusters being turned into kids by a time-manipulating ghost - they stand on a circle on the floor divided into sectors labeled 1-8, and become as many years old as the number of that sector. The style, as a remember it, greatly resembles the NOW comics, but I can’t seem to find any mention of a storyline like that - any help appreciated!

Nothing like that happened in the Now RGB series. Maybe it was Marvel UK.

Where’s ECTO-1’s comicguide when we need it?

Thanks for your help! I didn’t even know about the Marvel UK comics! It would make more sense being one of those, being as I am in the UK.

Bump!

I think that this story mite be in This Ghost is Toast , which is the fourthTitan Trade paperback of the Marvel UK comics. The Ghostbusters were called to deal with a ghost in a clock store, and the ghost had the powers which you described which turned the Ghostbusters into children.

I’m ashamed to say I don’t remember that story. I must have missed that issue. You know the Marvel comic had so many good stories it’s a shame it’s not remembered more.

Thanks for the info!

Welp, I found a list of the stories reprinted in “This Ghost is Toast” here, but the story doesn’t seem to be among them.

This doesn’t happen the way you described it above, but in the first Titan Trade called Witch is Which? The Story was called ECTO BABY, where they meet a spirit that turns them into children. The ghost was a ghost baby and used its rattle to turn them into playmates, but nothing about a circle with numbers. I’m sure the one you were talking about does exist, theres one where Gozer comes out of Janine’s refrigerator that I haven’t managed to get mey hands on. Hope That Helps a bit.

Thanks! Yes, I found Ecto-Baby and originally though that was what I remembered, but found it that is in fact a different story - seems turning the guys into kids was a popular idea (there’s also the cartoon episode, “Three Men and an Egon”)! The story you mention sounds like Cool Zuul!. Anyway thanks again, good luck with your search.
