Do You want this Body...

Hi everybody.

I’ll start by saying I’m Scared… How do I go about changing the arms on my guys so that they all can be gloved. I heard this hot water method but it worries me. I didn’t pay for them to be destroyed due to my carelessness. :sigh:

Also I need to know if there someone on the board that can do cast/molds or can instruct me on how to do it myself. I perfer the first option but beggers can’t be chooser unless you have alot of cash. lol

I need to make a copy of a unpinched Ray Stantz’s head and I need to make heads with the neck attached for the EGB.

If anybody is willing to help I would be very thankful. :roland:

I don’t have any advice for you, subcreature. Good luck though.

DO NOT TRY TO PULL THE ENTIRE ARM OFF. The arms are attached at the shoulders in a way that the heat and pop method would not work. You will want to heat and pull at the elbows, just under the elbow pads.

While the hot water method worked well for me, I prefer the hair dryer technique. It’s quicker and dryer. Just heat for about 15-30 seconds depending on your hair dryer and pull. It’s always risky separating something that was designed to never be separated… But I’ve done it to over ten figures, and have never had a problem.

Capt Cyan’s Thread is full of useful ideas of how to start the molding process. This and Youtube are excellent places to start.
