He means the elevation drawings used by cartoon series to make sure their props are on-model.
I think Spook Central has a few of them (XGB used the same base designs for the car’s bodywork so they’ll be useful to a degree). Others can be gotten off of the Time Life DVD set.

It was the mention of “model set” which suggested it to me. As often when something in a cartoon or comic is drawn wrong, it’s referred to as “off model”.
