I new to this board, and I won’t even disguise why I’m here. I recently remembered that Ghostbusters Tube Gum was a thing. And I’m now desperately trying to find some. Obviously not for consumption, but just to own a terrible, terrible piece of my childhood.
I’ve lurked the board a bit, and I genuinely believe this is my best bet on actually finding a tube of this, empty or sealed. I would pay legitimate money for this.

I remember that stuff well.Actually,now that you’ve waited 30 years,it might have the consistency of actual chewing gum.I did a quick eBay search out of curiosity,but no luck.
Back in February of this year I dug out some stuff I’d had boxed away for ages, took a bunch of pics and posted them to my Facebook.
Not sure why the Slimer gum cost 40 cents more than the Ecto Plazm gum, unless it was just because one store charged more than the other?
Also… remember price tags, LOL?

I had one tube of the slimer gum. It was the only item my dad was willing to pay for in the universal gift store, because it was the cheapest.
Wasn’t there also a bubblegum-flavored Slimer toothpaste with those same graphics? I recall it being quite terrible…
You’re right. I think I had conflated the gum and the toothpaste in my memory, but I did a little Google search and found several pics of it. Apparently there were multiple flavors.
Bubble gum, mint, grape. Possibly more.
